About the Photographer:
Mike Meken is a freelance photographer located in Fairfield
County, CT. He has been providing professional photographic
services for over ten years in the tri-state area. His work
has been featured in trade magazines, company brochures and
websites, as well as numerous model portfolios. His fine art
images are part of several private collections in the area.
”I knew photography was for me ever since I snapped
my first polaroid. It was, dare I say magical? Here I had
this blank piece of paper and within a minute an image appeared
on it.
”But the real magic happened when I realized all the
power I could have over that image. I could manipulate the
light or the perspective and thus turn the subject into something
quite different, and quite more intriguing.
"I thought… what a cool way to make a living!”
